EIFL webinar on CRIS/IR interoperability
A webinar on "embedding repositories" and CRIS/IR interoperability will be held Dec 16th by EIFL. The webinar, to be delivered by William Nixon (University of Glasgow) and Pablo de Castro (euroCRIS), will address the growing importance of ensuring that Open Access repositories are interoperable with other systems, especially research information management systems (aka CRISs) at institutional level and beyond.
PASTEUR4OA Project Workshop in London
The PASTEUR4OA project workshop "Working Together to Promote Open Access Policy Alignment in Europe" will be held Dec 2-3 at the Birbeck College in London. This 2-day event organised by the Jisc will gather the project's keynode organisation network for discussing the harmonisation of strategies for Open Access policy implementation across Europe (see event programme).
euroCRIS Strategic Membership Meeting in Amsterdam
A new euroCRIS meeting will be held at the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) on Nov 11-12 under the motto "Interoperability in Research Information". This event will merge the annual Strategic Meeting with the Autumn Membership Meeting in a new format that will join euroCRIS Strategic Partners and regular members. The event programme will address the different areas of system operability for research information management and highlight the progress in the application of the CERIF standard at ongoing RIM projects in several countries.
